He hugs

Brazillian samba is the absolute bomb... the gentle beats, the chill out melody, the sultry seductive vocals, when they say that music can transport you to another world, they really do mean it. Cmon, who doesnt feel as if theyre lying in a hammock sipping a cocktail watching the sunset on a beach, when the jazzy notes curl around your heart, lulling you into relaxation and finally ensnaring you in its spell?

Then you can almost feel the breeze carressing your body, and hear the seagulls singing along with the waves...

He reminds me of the tide. But not in a good way.

You know how sometimes you wander down onto the beach and you start to dream a little, and you dont notice the tide creeping stealthily apon you and suddenly a big one comes and you're caught in it and drenched wet?
You shriek a little in surprise, not expecting to be dripping waist down when you first came out to the water? but hey, it feels sorta good doesnt it?

And so you continue walking along the shore, getting splashed more and more, but you're already wet anyway, might as well enjoy it right? It feels good when the water's lapping against your body, but the wind is cold when it leaves, and you tell yourself when the next wave recedes you'll get out of the water...

But it never really leaves, does it?

It crashes over you, enveloping you in its wet salty warmth, then leaves you shivering, it pretends to go, always at the right moment so you hanker for it to come back, and so it does, again and again and again, coming and going, it teases, it plys you with promises then races away from you ... only to whisper sweet nothings in your ear in the next breath.

So here you are, lost in the embrace of the sea yet shocked by its cruel departure.
Yet you feel like you wanna stay in this spot forever, willing to experience the chill if only to grasp a few moments of bliss.

You know you should go if you don't want to catch a cold and feel utterly miserable in the days to come. But you dont want to go. You wanna stay here forever and ever and ever...

But you have to go. you have to. Nothing lasts. Especially not the tide which will lap at another's feet as soon as yours are out of reach. Better get out soon.

For some colds are nasty and take a long time to recover from...

i wish it's just a cold, at least you still have the chance to recover from it... but they are times when things get worse than that... and I know i can never get recovered.. or more accurately, i refuse to...
